The LG OLED65G26LA is a 65 inch OLED television from LG’s G2 Gallery Edition range. The panel is OLED, so every pixel makes its own light and switches off completely for black, rather than being dimmed by a backlight. The frame is thin and dark, with the connections grouped into one recessed panel on the back.

The bezel is barely wider than the picture itself, so almost all of the 65 inches you pay for is screen.

Key Features

  • A 65 inch screen with true black. OLED pixels light themselves one by one, so dark scenes stay dark instead of turning grey.
  • Games can run at 120 frames a second. The rear label reads HDMI (4K@120Hz) IN, and all four inputs are HDMI 2.1.
  • Console, decoder and soundbar all stay connected. Four HDMI ports and three USB ports, so nothing needs unplugging to swap sources.
  • One cable to a soundbar. HDMI 2 carries eARC/ARC, and there is also an optical digital audio output.
  • Aerial and dish both go straight in. One TV aerial input and one satellite input on the back.
  • Streaming opens from the remote. The webOS home screen puts apps, recent inputs and search on one row, no extra box required.
Rear panel of the TV with a magnified view of the port labels reading HDMI (4K@120Hz) IN 2 (eARC/ARC) and USB IN 1, plus icons for HDMI 2.1 x4, USB x3, TV Aerial x1, Satellite x1 and Optical Digital Audio Out x1
The sockets sit in a recess and face sideways, which keeps plugs from pushing the set away from the wall.

Apps, live TV and inputs sit on the same screen, so switching from a decoder to streaming is one press rather than a menu hunt. The app line up shown here depends on region.
