The S70TY is a 950 mm soundbar paired with its own subwoofer. It runs 3.1.1 channels through seven speakers with 400 W of output, so you get left, right and centre sound, a dedicated bass box and a height channel for Dolby Atmos tracks.

Key Features
- Film sound comes from above you, not just in front. The 3.1.1 layout includes a height channel, and the bar decodes Dolby Atmos, Dolby Digital and DTS Digital Surround.
- Bass you feel without muddying the dialogue. The subwoofer handles low frequencies on its own, with Bass Blast and Bass Blast+ modes when you want more of it.
- Speech stays clear when the action gets loud. Clear Voice Pro lifts dialogue, and AI Sound Pro adjusts the balance to what is playing. Cinema, Music, Sports, Game and Standard modes are also there.
- Console and decoder plug in and pass through to the TV. One HDMI in and one HDMI out carry 4K, 120Hz, VRR, ALLM, HDR10 and Dolby Vision, so gaming and picture quality are untouched.
- Play from your phone at full detail. Bluetooth 5.3 with SBC and AAC, plus Hi-Res playback at 24bit/96kHz.
- Add surround speakers later. The bar is wireless rear ready, and eARC, ARC and Simplink mean the TV remote can control volume over one HDMI cable.

The bar measures 950 x 63 x 115 mm and weighs 3.0 kg; the subwoofer is 200 x 377 x 285 mm at 5.7 kg. An HDMI cable, wall mount bracket and remote control are included, and LG’s remote app works on iOS and Android.
