The VC5420NNTR is LG’s corded cylinder vacuum. It runs from a wall socket at 2000W and collects dust in a 1.3 litre container rather than a bag, so there is nothing to replace when it fills. The body is black with a red LG panel on the front and rolls on a large wheel at each side.

Key Features
- No battery to run flat halfway through the house. It plugs into the wall and runs at 2000W of suction power, and the plug clips into the back of the body when you have finished.
- Nothing to buy again once you own it. Bagless, with LG’s Ellipse Cyclone system dropping dust into a 1.3 litre container that you tip out and clip back on.
- You can see when it needs emptying. The container is clear with a MAX line on the side, and the red PUSH catch on the front releases it.
- Set the pipe to your own height. The pipe is telescopic, so you can clean standing straight and pull it shorter for tight corners.
- The machine follows you instead of being carried. There is a large wheel on each side of the body, and the floor nozzle rides on its own rollers.
- Fits in a cupboard or a corner. The body measures 400 mm wide, 270 mm deep and 234 mm high.

The floor nozzle sits on rollers with a brush strip along the front edge and a small toggle on top. The hose connects at the front of the body, below the container.
