The LG XBOOM CL87 is a two speaker mini audio system built for playing music loudly. Total output is 2350W, split between two stereo speakers, each with a large front woofer and a horn tweeter above it. The main unit sits between them and carries the controls.

The light rings around each woofer are part of the lighting system, so the speakers themselves become the visual effect at a party rather than needing extra lamps.

Key Features

  • Loud enough for a full room or a bar. Output is rated at 2350W across two stereo speakers.
  • Bass you can feel as well as hear. Each cabinet carries a large woofer that pushes out low end you notice in your chest.
  • The lights move with the music. Several lighting modes and effects are built in, including one that pulses the light to the beat.
  • Two people can sing at once. MIC 1 and MIC 2 sockets sit on the front panel, with Voice Canceller and Vocal Effects buttons beside them.

  • Play from a flash drive or a cable. USB 1 and USB 2 ports sit on the top panel, with AUX IN and a headphone socket on the front.

Everything is a labelled button or a wheel you can reach, so a guest can take over the music or grab a microphone without touching a phone.

The system is finished in black with red woofer surrounds, and the two speakers stand taller than the central unit. LG states a warranty period of 2 years for this model.
